These are some pictures of what i have taken myself. i prefer photographing things close up because it makes you look at the photo in more detail. When i was talking these photos it was hard because the rain drops were dripping of the plants/bench really fast so it was hard to get a clear picture. It was all worth it in the end because it looked really nice and effective.

The five types of composition:
Depth of field:
the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that gives an image judged to be in focus in a camera.
Symmetry:
A symmetry shot with strong composition and a good point of interest can lead to a striking image but without the strong point of interest it can be a little predictable. i prefer to experiment with both in the one shot to see which works best.

Lines:
Lines can increase the impact of images. lines serve the effect photographic composition in two ways

Texture:
Images a two dimensional thing yet with the clever use of 'texture' they can come alive and become almost three dimensional. texture particularly comes into play when the light hits objects at interesting angles
pattern:
here are patterns all around us if we only learn to see them. emphasizing and highlighting these patterns can lead to striking shots- as can high lightening when patterns are broke

This photo has no shadows and the background is a soft lighting so it makes you have more focus on the girl. I like the position shes standing in, she hasn't got much emotion in her face but it looks nice. she's also got her legs crossed so you look at them and then your eyes go up the picture to look at her face expression. Her dress has level to it and shes looking straight at the camera and not looking in a different direction. In my opinion i think that the ears top the hole picture off.

Perou photography
I really like this photo because it shows too different sides of him, a good side and a bad side. The shadows are spectacular for highlighting emotions and generating some really surreal imagery. The best part about them may be the fact that they can be used in so many different ways. Versatility is always a very likeable quality!

First Analysis
-Ralph John Perou, known professionally as Perou, is a British fashion, portrait and music photographer who has also appeared as a judge on Make Me a Supermodel UK and on season 2 of Bravo TV's American Make Me a Supermodel.
-I like this photo of Perou because it's in black and white. To me it shows alot of emotion, he shows this because his face is looking towards to the floor and he is not smiling but it doesn't make him look unhappy. My eye is drawn to the bottom of the cross and because its white it sands out more, my eye follows the cross upwards and take me to his face.
However all of the shot is in focus-none is out of focus. This means that all of the image is clear so the person who is looking at the photo is not focused on one point of the photo.
